Logo design is the art of creating a visual representation of your brand or company. A good logo is simple, distinctive, relevant, and matches your brand’s aesthetics.
Before beginning the design process, we recommended creating brand guidelines to outline the look and tone of your brand and how it will be used across different mediums. Your logo is what your customers associate with your products and services and must be consistent across all your marketing efforts.
Whether you are starting from scratch or need an updated design, the first step is to create a logo design brief. Your logo is the first impression your business makes on a potential customer, so it needs to represent your brand in an authentic way.
We want to learn about your company and its core values, including your target audience, design references, color palette instructions, and logotype. There are 8 main logotypes to choose from, so we want to nail down all the details before we begin sketching out ideas.
Once we’ve nailed down the design brief, it’s time to get to the fun part and draw out our design concepts.
We will blend different graphics to convey your brand message into a small, simple design that is suitable for different applications, including marketing materials, uniforms, website design, and much more.
Once the concepts are designed, 3-5 logo options will be presented, including color variations, for you to review with your team.
At this stage we are seeking feedback on the design concepts so we can determine which logo you like best and any changes you may want made. Your feedback is important in the design process as it helps us refine and finalize your logo.
Using your feedback and change requests, we make smaller tweaks to the overall design of the logo such as text placement and color changes. You may have liked one color palette but a different design, which can easily be manipulated digitally.
We test the logo’s versatility and make sure it’s scalable across multiple mediums, and then send it back for your approval. Our goal is to design a logo that is a timeless and memorable representation of your brand. Afterall, it is the first impression your business has with potential customers.
Once your logo is finalized, we will pull together all the digital files that were used in creating the design. These files will include various formats of the logo so you can utilize them across different mediums, such as product packaging or merchandise displays. We also include logo source files – the raw files that will allow you to make future modifications to your logo.
